Dubbed as the biggest balloon fiesta in southeast Asia in terms of participating balloons, this year’s Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival falls on March 23 – 25, 2018 at Pradera Verde, Prado Sionco in Lubao, Pampanga.

The event is expected to draw a crowd of about a hundred thousand attendees which includes families, students, photography enthusiasts, celebrities and VIPs.  The festival will feature more than 30 balloons this year.  There will be 25 international balloons and 5 local ones.  Out of this number, the crowd will witness 8 special shaped balloons which includes the highly anticipated Christ the Redeemer balloon.

Now on its fifth year and getting bigger and better than ever, the organizers have planned a fun-filled day full of various activities that will cater to both young and old audiences, according to event organizer Rambo Ortega.  Aside from balloon rides and tethered balloons, there will be off road and rally cross challenges.  There will also be kite flying, inflatables, mini zoo, ultra-light flying activities, magicians, and indie bands on top of the OPM bands and artists that will be performing on the said dates.

Expectators are encouraged to come early for the morning flight.  Gates will open at around 4:00AM and balloon flights will start at 5:00AM.  On the other hand, the night glow will start at around 6:00PM but will be subject to the weather and wind conditions.  Balloon flights and access to the flying area will be limited.

TICKET PRICES: P300.00/day – Available at the gates and at all SM ticket outlets.  Kids two and a half below are free.
