Jollibee – the mere mention of the name could lighten up any kid’s face and even adults alike. Jollibee stores nationwide has become more than just a popular fast-food chain. Rather it has become an iconic and integral part of the Filipino lifestyle. So no matter how many branches we have in the metro, we just can’t seem to have enough of the all-time Pinoy favorite.
As part of its countdown to having 1000 stores nationwide, Jollibee opens its 993rd store in the town of Mexico Bayan, Pampanga. The road to 1000 has earlier kicked off in Davao with the opening of its 991st store, followed by Guagua, Pampanga as its 992nd.
The opening of the branch is indeed a manifestation of continued growth for the town of Mexico, Pampanga. It will provide additional employment to the locals and will bring Jollibee’s brand of service and quality closer to the Cabalen families, according to Mr. Dennis Reyes, PR Manager of Jollibee.
The opening festivities started with a regional dance performance and followed by the unveiling of the modern tropical designed building that can accommodate up to 230 plus people. Aside from Jollibee executives, Mayor Ted Tumang also graced the opening of the 993rd branch. Also in attendance were representatives from the Pampanga Bloggers Society.
A commemorative marker is rightfully shown at the stores front facade. The branch will be open 24/7 to accommodate travelers and clients coming from night shifts.
The journey to 1000 stores just got more exciting with the addition of Jollibee’s 993rd branch. With one store unveiled after another, it won’t be long until we find out what branch will mark this significant milestone for Jollibee.
