Special sauce with an aromatic blend of spices consisting of cayenne pepper, onions and celery to name a few.  All this combined and cooked with fresh crabs, shrimps and mussels. Bagged and put into one big bright orange bucket.   These plus other Asian fusion dishes can be experienced at The Orange Bucket.

Formerly known as the Crowing Chicken, The Orange Bucket has two branches namely in Balibago, Angeles City and in Mc Arthur Hiway, San Fernando, Pampanga.  The San Fernando Branch can comfortably seat around 40-50 people.  While the Balibago branch can accommodate up to 60.

Carrying the same theme and concept, the dining area of The Orange Bucket is spacious and very well lighted.  A giant crab can be seen in the interior of the restaurant while a huge bucket can be seen hanging on one of the trees in front of the Balibago branch.  Boat paddles and other accents related to the sea completes the theme throughout the place.

The Orange Bucket menu is straightforward. The first step in your Cajun dining experience is to choose the ‘catch’ you want in your bucket. You’ll have a choice of crabs, shrimps, and mussels. The Orange Bucket price is P1000 plus.

Next step is to choose your preferred flavor. You’ll have an option of Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, and the big bang which is a combination of the 3 flavors. We opted to try the big bang for our catch.

Cajun dishes are known for their pungency. But fret not because The Orange Bucket has a spice meter. So you can choose to have your catch tamed (non-spicy), wild with a bit of kick, wilder (kick ass), or go all the way with wildest (XXX).

To compliment your ‘catch’, there are other Asian Fusion dishes in the menu that are worth trying.  They have the seafood platter (tuna, shrimps, squids), chicken, fresh Thai spring rolls, and pork slab.

Here’s a look at the dishes we’ve tried were:
