Fiery Style Marquee Mall Angeles City Pampanga

aroundthemetro.ph was invited to be a part of the official opening of Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill located at the second floor of Marquee Mall on July 18, 2019.  This is Fiery Style’s 11th branch and the first outside Metro Manila.

When asked why they chose Pampanga to be their first provincial branch, owners Monciar Bautista and Vanni Sanchez said they are happy to see that the food scene in Pampanga is continuously growing and becoming more vibrant each year thus making them decide to put up the branch in the food capital of the Philippines.  One of the owners is also of a Kapampangan descent so Pampanga was one of their top choices for their brand’s  expansion.

Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill is a Tex-Mex restaurant offering a full menu of all-time favourite Tex-Mex dishes including quesadillas, nachos, tacos, succulent steaks and a full line of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages as well.

Here’s the top choices and recommendations we have from the food we sampled during the event:

STEAKS:

Our top choice would be the 16oz. ribeye steak with mash potato.   But if you are dining with a group, they have a 1-kilo steak that’s good enough for group sharing.  Steaks are as expected, succulent, tender, with just the right thickness.  The mash potato was a good addition.  We think the mushrooms are not necessary or could have been better if there’s an option to choose between greens or mushrooms, but overall, the steaks are recommended.

FIERY NACHOS:

Served in a tin can and revealed as nachos stacked like a tower.  We like the different colours of the nacho chips which was a good addition to the aesthetic of the whole dish.  It has generous amount of ground beef, jalapeños and cheese in it.  This is a great appetiser to have while you wait for a main course.

LORD OF THE WINGS:

We loved how it was presented.  Hanging in skewers with different sauces to choose from at the bottom.  Chicken wings are of good sizes and proportion with just the right amount of flavor and kick.

FLAVORED MOJITOS:

Served cold and fresh with the right amount of alcohol and flavor in it.

FROZEN CHEESECAKE:

This frozen cheesecake is an ideal dessert to wrap up a good dinner.  Not too sweet and has the right amount of creaminess to wash off the taste of meat and alcohol in your mouth.  The portion is also generous.

Overall we would recommend Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill for family or groups who have budget to spare and wants to dine and drink afterwards.  Their al fresco area is a nice place to chill and relax. They have group sets good for 4 pax and above plus an bottomless wine promo for only P498.00.

Fiery Style Southwestern Flaming Grill is located at the second floor of Marquee Mall (back area).  Operation hours are mall hours, Monday thru Sunday starting 10AM.  They will also feature a live acoustic band every weekend.  Booking for private functions are welcome.
