Intrigue by what made the chef’s gone wild, we headed over to Lucky Building in Balibago, Angeles City to check out this new hang out place. We were kind of expecting a trash out place with outrageous menus that’s probably a product of someone who’s gone madly wild. But instead we were welcomed into a neatly designed hang out spot with a menu as interesting as its name.
The place that can comfortably accommodate about 30 people, maybe 40 the most, is situated in the busy stretch of Balibago, Angeles City. The place is quite compact but the menu is diverse. Since the location is pretty accessible, it makes it a good choice for people looking for uncomplicated place to chill and enjoy good food.

Oh My Ribs
The flavor is leaning more towards the sweet side which I think would please the Filipino palate more. This is something you’d want to pair with a lot of rice. It’s uncomplicated and the softness of the meat is just right.
Wild Wild Wings
We were given an option to take our spicy meter into another level with the wild wings. I still find it a bit sweet with just the right amount of spice on it. I guess it would depend on a person’s tolerance with spicy food. Mine’s a little high so I could go spicier. But it’s good to have an option like this especially when dining with kids.
Mini Burger Double
These could work as appetizer or a meal for kiddos. Or if you want to sample the burger but is not willing to get the bigger one. It comes with french fries on the side.
This is the older brother of the mini double. Complete with everything that a good burger needs. Bacon, onions, tomatoes, greens plus french fries on the side.
Pretty sinful but irresistible. The dip that comes with it matches perfectly with the Spam and fries.
The highlight of the menu for me would be the Gourmet Pizzas – the Pinoy Gourmet Pizza and Mangga Inasal Pizza. The Pinoy Gourment has a lot going on in it but the flavors matches well, thus creating a nice pizza flavor. It has dried fish, salted eggs, meat, and more. There’s some hint of spice (chilli) but it does compliment all the flavors in the pizza. Mangga Inasal on the hand had a nice blend of sweetness and saltiness in it. These pizza toppings were laid on a thin crust and sealed with cheese. The best part? These are less than P200!
To match these sumptuous dishes served are frappes that included Kitkat Matcha, Snickers Doodle Frost, and Strawberry Skittles. We also had a sample of their version of Croquembouche.
